This first radar image clearly shows that Gerhard did leave Norwood, Ma. heading South, then to the East. The area, that he went off radar, was very highly searched and still is. It is possible that Gerhard fell below radar and still kept flying. He could have flown for possibly 2 - 2 1/2 hours before running out of fuel. |
